
What's the first thing you do when you arrive?
Check my emails to see what has taken place during the previous night and to handle enquires from our sister properties.
Which areas do you check on a daily basis?
Back of house, locker rooms, staff entrance to make sure it is safe and presentable for all our colleagues and to make sure everything is in working order. Cafeteria to check on the food that is being served to our colleagues and to find out their comments and suggestions to make improvements for them.
How do you engage with your team on a daily basis?
I host daily meetings with the team and will speak to each individually throughout the day to check everything is running smoothly with them. I like to regularly help out with tasks as well that are assigned to others, especially when we are busy or short staffed.
What is your favourite part or favorite time of day?
I enjoy the catch ups with my team, I think its important to stay connected to the team and to offer help/guidance whenever needed.
What's the last thing you do before you leave?
Check my emails to make sure that all the work for the day has been completed and that there is nothing pending.
