Rotana Rewards voted the Best Hotel Loyalty Programme at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards

Abu Dhabi, June 2011 - Rotana won the Best Loyalty Programme for its Rewards programme during the recent Business Traveller Middle East Awards, which recently marked its ninth anniversary with more than 300 leading travel executives in attendance.

Commenting on the award, Mr. Omer Kaddouri, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Rotana said: “I feel privileged and proud to receive this award. Through its aggressive brand deployment and development strategy, Rotana relies on a series of tools to maintain a consistent presence, out of which is, Rotana Rewards, the most successful guest and frequent-booker loyalty programme in the region”.

Rotana was the first regional hotel company to launch a loyalty programme for dining and staying in 1999. Rotana Rewards Exclusive has since grown to become one of the most successful hospitality loyalty cards in the world. With more than 20,000 active members – and a renewal ratio of 72% – it offers complimentary and discounted drinking and dining across all Rotana food and beverage operations, a points rewards element on purchases, room rate discounts and an Airmiles partnership of more than 950 gifts.

Then there is Rotana Rewards Classic, a programme specifically tailored to hotel, conference and banquet bookers at companies with whom we do regular business. There is also Rotana Rewards Select, rewarding the repeat stayers segment with VIP amenities, late check-out, double points on partner airlines frequent flyer programmes – as well as points accumulation based on spending in the restaurants and staying in the guest rooms.
