Spreading Joy, One Smile at a Time: Our 2025 Volunteering Experience

Continuing our heartfelt tradition of giving back, our team once again had the honour of volunteering with Operation Smile UAE, this time during their Big Book Sale event held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi, from 11 am to 3 pm.

As part of this meaningful initiative, we proudly joined hands with volunteers from across the community to help raise funds for children born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. These donations directly support free, life-changing surgeries provided by Operation Smile around the world.

This year, the event brought something extra special—a cute teddy bear, sold alongside the wide selection of books. These adorable additions not only brought more joy to the shoppers but also helped increase the charity’s fundraising efforts. Each bear purchased symbolized a step closer to a child’s new smile.

Representing Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana, our team members were once again filled with pride and purpose as we volunteered our time and energy. It was inspiring to see the community come together, united by a shared goal to make a difference—one smile at a time.

Volunteering for this cause continues to be a deeply rewarding experience for all of us. It reminds us that even the smallest gestures—whether it’s selling a book or a teddy bear—can create ripple effects of kindness and change lives for the better.
