Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq – May 2015: Erbil Rotana, awarded for 5 consecutive years as Iraq’s Leading Hotel by the World Travel Awards, has announced the appointment of Rinaldo Boscaro as its new Executive Chef at Erbil Rotana.

Chef Rinaldo brings more than 30 years of international experience in the Hospitality industry while new to Erbil but not Rotana. After running his own operation in Sydney, Australia he served as Director of Food & Beverage at Yas Island Rotana in Abu Dhabi where he successfully participated in the pre-opening of the Hotel in addition to assisting in the pre-opening of Amwaj Rotana and previously an Executive Chef at the renowned Al Bustan Rotana in Dubai, member of “The Leading Hotels of the World”.
His international experience encompasses numerous successful positions held in International chains such as the Pan Pacific Hotels in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Palau Pacific Resort in Micronesia and Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore, Shangri-la Hotel Bangkok in Thailand, Shangri-La Dingshan in Nanjing, Shangri-La the Kerry Centre in Beijing China and Shangri-la Hotel Jakarta in Indonesia.
