Where Astounding Skyline Lies
City Centre Rotana Doha is located in the heart of West Bay. West bay is just a new neighborhood which started to develop 11 years ago. Since then, it has been growing business districts with all the tantalizing buildings which created a majestic skyline. It glimmers with skyscrapers, shopping centers, five-star hotels and luxury apartment buildings.

The area looks like any other modern district, and is home to a large concentration of Western expats. From afar, the West Bay skyline can come close to New York, Hong Kong, Sydney and other countries with famous skylines. Tim Makower, a leading architect described West Bay as “A piece of unfinished business, waiting for a new layer of streetscape and walkable routes to be added among the sometimes crazy glass towers.”
The West Bay have Corniche as the defining motif of the city and Old Doha as a treasurable patchwork, handed down through a family, from generation to generation; something to be repaired but not replaced. The three parts which surround the City Centre are likened to the heart and lung of the city, without which it wouldn’t have a life.
