Pedro Kimmig, a culinary wizard from Nüremberg, Germany, began his impressive journey at 16 as a hotel breakfast chef. This early exposure ignited his passion for the industry. After training in Nüremberg, he honed his skills in Germany's Black Forest and a Michelin-starred restaurant in Cologne.Driven by a love for meats, Pedro took on roles at steakhouses and broadened his horizons as a chef on movie sets and in various restaurants. In 2009, his vision took a bold step forward with a Chef de Cuisine role at an Austrian restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. Immersing himself in Korean culture, Pedro rediscovered his passion for German cuisine and the desire to share it globally. Seoul offered him some of his best years, followed by a Sous Chef position at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, where he managed diverse cuisines.

Today, he is the speciality outlet chef at Brauhaus at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, and passionately shares his authentic creations of native dishes with customers there. He considers the most emotionally rewarding part of being a chef to be having constant access to the freshest ingredients and believes that passion is the key to a chef’s success. Pedro’s 20+ year’s culinary adventure includes competition wins and a constant pursuit of his evolving vision. Where will his culinary journey take him next? Only time will tell.
