Amman Rotana Wins Gold and Silver Medals at HORECA Jordan 2019
Amman Rotana has received two medals, a gold medal and a silver medal, during its participation in the cooking competitions held on the sidelines of the 6th International Trade Show for Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, Food and Hospitality Services, HORECA Jordan 2019.
Chef Ezzedine Al Awamleh won the gold medal in the Best Macaron competition, while Chef Ahmed Al Sallaq won the silver medal in the Three Course Set Dinner Menu competition.
The cooking competitions for this year’s edition of HORECA Jordan, which was held in cooperation with the Jordanian Chefs Association, were characterized by an increase in the number of participants to reach record levels compared to previous editions, with more than 115 chefs competing across 22 categories for cooking and desserts, and 12 categories for live cooking competitions.
The judging panel consisted of a team of international chefs who were invited from a number of Arab and foreign countries especially for the occasion.
Atieh Hamarneh, General Manager of Amman Rotana, congratulated the hotel’s chefs on their achievements in HORECA Jordan 2019, which is today considered the only international trade show dedicated to hotel and restaurant supplies, and hospitality and food industries, and the ideal destination for professionals working in this sector locally, regionally and internationally.
Hamarneh stressed on the long experience and breadth of culinary skills of Amman Rotana’s chefs, along with their dedication to their work, which positively reflects on the quality of the services offered by the hotel to its guests and visitors.
