United Arab Emirates, December 2011 – This year has been a successful one for Rotana, and before the year can come to a close, six more awards have been taken by several Rotana properties at the first ever International Hotel Awards – Arabia 2011, the Hotel industry’s most prestigious new Award Program. The winners were announced at the Regional Property Summit and Awards Gala event, held recently in Dubai.

Developed to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry, the International Hotel Awards in association with Bloomberg Television, seek the finest operations throughout a wide range of areas.

Rotana won six awards in total at the event, and the individual properties’ awards include: Amwaj Rotana Jumeira Beach Residence Dubai - Best Hotel; Park Rotana Abu Dhabi - Best New Hotel Construction & Design (less than 3 years old); Al Bustan Rotana Dubai - Best Convention Hotel; Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa Al Aqah Beach - Best Resort Hotel; Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi - Best Spa Hotel; and Centro Barsha Dubai - Best Hotel Interior.
